The first series from 1960s publisher Eerie, presents Gory tales of horror and the macabre, many "reanimated" from classic pre-Code horror comics. A Bosnian stonemason captures evil within his gargoyles, but cannot safely release it. Oil prospectors in the Amazon run afoul of the beast from Black Swamp. A sea captain returns to the lighthouse where he stashed a treasure map, only to encounter the partner he's already killed.
